saimonix This album – for me – requires to be in a right mood. It is very powerful and direct; I could compare it to a situation in which someone significant for you wants to discuss with you a matter of the utmost importance. You are not always up and ready for it, but if you are – the experience is intense and can be a defining moment. In musical terms, it’s craft of highest probe. Works best as a whole. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Dusk.

tokyorewind This is an extremely nice vaporwave album. It starts with nature sounds that translates the idea of the “genesis” of vaporwave, before focusing on the “aesthetics” side of it. A chill trip and a real evolution for this album that literally took me somewhere else where nothing seems to exist or matter. I especially enjoy the “Dusk” and “Dawn” tracks. Favorite track: Dusk.
Lionel Valdellon (Acid42)
Lionel Valdellon (Acid42) thumbnail
Lionel Valdellon (Acid42) Thick analog synth pads, digital grit and grime, square wave arpeggios, space age reverbs and delays. There is a pulsing that breathes, and new life is generated in between these waveforms. It is a thing of cosmic beauty.

What's even more amazing: there are NO DRUMS anywhere. And yet each track is moved along very organically. Kudos!

File under: ambient electronic.
Sounds like: Future Sounds of London (circa Lifeforms), Suzanne Ciani, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream. Favorite track: Dawn.

danyburtonfan sounds good and isn't just super generic vaporwave. Vaporwave is better as an idea than a sound a lot of the time haha Favorite track: Aesthesis.
† VHS SPECTRE † thumbnail
† VHS SPECTRE † A lush, cinematic work fusing Synthwave and Vaporwave sounds to conjure images of a future that only exists in the past. Much like Palteo's excellent album "Fractal Image", Aesthesis' retro-futuristic music sounds like the score of a long forgotten 80's Science Fiction film on videotape. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Déjà-Vu.
Jean-Paul DuQuette
Jean-Paul DuQuette thumbnail
Jean-Paul DuQuette Synthie cinematic goodness. Reminds me of late '80s anime OSTs and '90s JRPGs. Can't really tell how much of this is original and how much is repurposed, but it's an excellent release whatever the case. Favorite track: Dusk.

Aesthesis is highly inspired by the nostalgic feeling and aesthetics of vaporwave. The word 'aesthesis' is a synthesis of 'genesis' and 'aesthetics'. Aesthesis begins with the genesis of vaporwave, then slowly turns everything into the finest aesthetic elements. After the aesthesis, there's no men left standing on the face of the Earth. Gigantic busts remain representing the last pictures of men.
